Mark Verke, who is employed at the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund, started helping at the NDTOA workshops part-time in 1998. By the year 2000, Mark was a full-time member of the NDTOA workshop crew that traveled around the state in non-legislative years. In the early years, Mark would participate in the skits that "the crew" would put on to help educate township officers. Being able to work with Mark through the NDIRF has been a huge asset to NDTOA. Mark will be retiring from NDIRF at the end of 2023, and we wish him the best in his retirement.
